Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable APIs using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture
- Develop and manage integration workflows between internal and third-party systems (ERP, CRM, CBS, Payment Gateways, etc.)
- Implement secure API gateways and manage access controls for internal/external consumers
- Analyze and resolve API failures, middleware errors, and integration bottlenecks
- Conduct root cause analysis and optimize API response times
- Automate integration testing, deployment, and API versioning using CI/CD pipelines
- Work closely with developers, IT, security, and business teams to ensure seamless integration delivery
- Document integration workflows, API specifications (OpenAPI, Swagger), and best practices
- Train internal teams on new integration features, tools, and security enhancements
- Provide support and training to junior developers
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in integration development, API management, and middleware solutions
- Experience working with enterprise system integration, microservices, and API gateways
- Strong hands-on experience with integration platforms such as WSO2 EI, MI, API Manager
- Proficiency in API development using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture
- Solid understanding of Relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Strong command of SQL, PL/SQL, and query optimization for high-performance transactions
- Familiarity with data transformation, XSLT, JSON, XML, and protocol mediation
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in API and middleware transactions
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for integration development
