Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable APIs using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture
  • Develop and manage integration workflows between internal and third-party systems (ERP, CRM, CBS, Payment Gateways, etc.)
  • Implement secure API gateways and manage access controls for internal/external consumers
  • Analyze and resolve API failures, middleware errors, and integration bottlenecks
  • Conduct root cause analysis and optimize API response times
  • Automate integration testing, deployment, and API versioning using CI/CD pipelines
  • Work closely with developers, IT, security, and business teams to ensure seamless integration delivery
  • Document integration workflows, API specifications (OpenAPI, Swagger), and best practices
  • Train internal teams on new integration features, tools, and security enhancements
  • Provide support and training to junior developers

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in integration development, API management, and middleware solutions
  • Experience working with enterprise system integration, microservices, and API gateways
  • Strong hands-on experience with integration platforms such as WSO2 EI, MI, API Manager
  • Proficiency in API development using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture
  • Solid understanding of Relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Strong command of SQL, PL/SQL, and query optimization for high-performance transactions
  • Familiarity with data transformation, XSLT, JSON, XML, and protocol mediation
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in API and middleware transactions
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for integration development
