Phnom Penh, 16 August 2024 – As part of the bank’s commitment to investing in the education and development of the next generation of leaders in the community. Phillip Bank, the only Singaporean-owned commercial bank in Cambodia, has collaborated with True Visions International School (TVIS) to provide scholarships to 12 outstanding students.
The event was held in the morning at TVIS’s BM2 branch in Sen Sok district, with the participation of the students, parents as well as management of both entities. The scholarship will be awarded to the top students, from grades 1 to 12, who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement with the hope that it will be part of an inspiration for the students to continue to thrive harder in their academic year.
Attending the ceremony, Mr. Raymond Chee Sze Loong, Phillip Bank’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer said “Investing in the education and development of talented young people is a core part of Phillip Bank’s commitment to the communities we serve. This scholarship programme is part of Phillip Bank’s efforts to contribute to a positive impact on Cambodian community.”
Dr. Seng Bona, TVIS’s Founder and Chairman is positive about this partnership since both institutions share the same vision of empowering young people to reach their full potential and become a powerful pipeline in society.

Besides the scholarship programme, Phillip Bank and True VISIONS International School (TVIS) have long been great partners in the education sector, with the school among the first companies to launch the KHQR payment process. Such an initiative has provided another level of convenience for parents to pay their children’s tuition fees via the Phillip Mobile app.
