I graduated bachelor degree of accounting and finance from CamEd business school in 2017 and also completed Master of Business Administration at National University of Management (NUM) in 2022. In 2016, Phillip Bank offered me an opportunity to join Management Trainee Program and subsequently, I was honored to start my career with Phillip Bank. During that time, I have gained a lot of experiences and knowledge. I enjoyed working rotation in a few departments to understand the whole working process of banking industry. Nowadays, I am a Senior Relationship Manager of Corporate Banking department. I am confident that combining my current experiences with Phillip Bank allows me to reach the top of my career.

My name is THANN Sothea, 
I studied Finance and Banking at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia and graduated in year 2018. On October 2016, I attended the Management Trainee Program with Phillip Bank. I rotated with 5 departments such as Credit Risk Management, Credit Admin, Lending Specialist, Financial Advisor, and Banking Operation. Then in October 2017, the Management provided me an opportunity to work as a Credit Evaluation Officer attached with Credit Risk Management Department. It is very nice and very pleasure to me. I have strong supportive leaders who are very kind and knowledgeable. They have taught me not only credit evaluation skills/ critical thinking, but also the career life. I can say that Credit Risk Management Department at Phillip Bank is a very good place of team spirit and power of sharing. I had been taking the Management Trainee Program in Phillip Bank for 9 months. During my training, I learned a lot more than I thought it would be. So far, I have gained many skills while working rotation in each department. It helps me to adapt to the variety of culture, working style, changing in environment and new skills with main improvement. With all support from colleagues and mentors, helps me to enhance the potential of a fast mover within this organisation. Last but not least, the program guided me to see my best ability, which is communication skills until I was appointed as a Chairman of Recreational Team. For me, Management Trainee Program at Phillip Bank is a recommended program because the career paths at Phillip Bank will help you to influence your potential and skills in the best possible way through working as a team, sharing experiences, respect others and always cheer when having an achievement. My name is PAK Samnang, 
I am a former student of National University of Management and the Institute of Foreign Languages, majoring in Business Management and English Literacy.
It was such a great privilege for me to be selected to join Phillip Bank Management Trainee Program in 2017. It is the program designed for fresh graduates to explore the job opportunity in banking sector. Throughout the whole program, I was assigned and rotated to work within a several different departments in the whole bank including Operations, Loan Credit Administration, Risk Department, and a few more. It was supposed to be a year long program, but I was offered to be a Credit Review Officer at Norodom Branch after just having been in the program for 06 months. Currently, I am a Senior Mortgage Lending Specialist for Teuk Thla Branch. I do believe that Phillip Bank Management Trainee Program is a unique and vital program. It allows candidates who are not familiar with the whole workflow of banking or indecisive on which position they like and fits them the most. Personally, it helps me dig out my potential, make decision on what I can do, and get to know a whole lots of staff in Phillip Bank. Last but not least, I am so thankful for this very beneficial program, and I highly recommend this program for the young talents who wish to discover their own potential and explore the opportunities working in banking industry.

I studied at Cambodia International Corporation Institute, majoring in English Literature. It’s a great opportunity for me to join the Management Trainee Program at Phillip Bank Plc. I had been taking the Management Trainee with Phillip Bank Plc. for 9 months and I have joined with two departments as a Lending Specialize at NRD branch specializing in assessment skills and at Retail Loan Center. It’s amazing time for me to learn and develop my capacity and growth my knowledge with banking skills. While I was training, I knew how to submit loan request, processing legal document, loan assessment, control and monitoring file loan with monthly report etc. More importantly, I understood a lot about banking environment, skills and building up communication with teamwork that made me more enjoyable and effectively. Finally, I’m very happy to join this program and very excited for being promoted as a full time employee with Phillip bank Plc. and I will try my best to work with integrity and smart working in my role.

My name is HONG Sunnich, 
I had graduated from Royal University of Law and Economic, majoring in Finance and Banking.
I had joined the Management Trainee Program in November 2018 and spent 6 months with 2 Departments and I got the chance to join Retail Loan Center and Credit Risk Management. While moving from one department to other department, I got to know that my skills, knowledge, communication skills, and teamwork were improved. The benefit of this program is to improve the work flow to make the processing between department easier and faster.
Even though I didn’t get the chance to join other departments, but I have received a lot of supporting and sharing from my co-workers also managers. Currently, I am a Supervisor at Credit Risk Management Department.

My name is SORN Chanthorn, 
I graduated from National University and Management, majoring in Finance and Banking and Institute of Foreign Languages, majoring in English.
I had been taking Management Trainee Program at Phillip Bank for 10.5 months and finished in 2019. I attended 5 departments including Retail Loan, Landing Specialist team, Credit Admin, Credit Risk, and Operation department. I learnt a lot from people in each department because they were kind and helpful. They taught me the work process, and guided me to do those works, which improve my communication, teamwork, and knowledge. My name is LY Yusim,
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the National University of Management and Institute of Foreign Languages respectively. I joined Phillip Bank as a Management Trainee in 2022 before transitioning to my current role in the Risk Department. During my trainee journey, I had been to 1 branch and 6 other departments, which enabled me to gain comprehensive knowledge of different aspects of the Bank. Besides, I had also joined different projects which allow me to experience different things outside of my trainee program. More importantly, I discovered a different side of me who can undertake the tasks I used to believe I would have never done. However, this program made me realize that nothing is impossible when you put your mind to it. I really appreciate this program which has provided me with a valuable learning environment and a strong foundation toward my current role.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English for Professional Communication from the Institute of Foreign Language and a Bachelor of Information Technology from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. Currently, I am working as a Research Officer in the Research & Development department at Phillip Bank where I support strategic decision-making through comprehensive research and analysis. My interest in Phillip Bank’s Management Trainee program was piqued when I explored career opportunities online. I’ve previously participated in a Management Trainee program, where I gained valuable insights, forged strong connections, and collaborated with talented individuals. I am holding a bachelor degree of English for Business Communication from Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia. I heard about the Management Trainee (MT) program through my Singaporean mentor. Thus, I decided to apply for it.

My first impression of this program was that Management Trainee (MT) is a precious opportunity for young talented youths and a noteworthy program in the banking sector. This program has a period of twelve months to strengthen candidates with multiple skills and expertise. The MT program allows me to rotate between departments so that I could be equipped with knowledge/experience of banking. It can also provide me an opportunity to network with the professionals such as my mentors and colleagues. Therefore, I strongly commit to the MT program at Phillip Bank.

Eventually, I hope that this program could help define my talents, push me to take the next step into the working environment and give a clear pathway to my future career with Phillip Bank.
